Zarečki Krov Waterfall — Attraction in Grad Pazin

We are back here after four years. Four years ago, my son jumped from the overhang into the water at the age of 8, but my daughter did not dare to, she was 9 at the time. This year both jumped numerous times. From the parking lot it is a few hundred meters to the Krov. There is a path. We decided to be adventurous and slipped into the river at the parking lot, walking, swimming and crawling downstream to the Krov. The river is great for building small dams with the kids. In the pond below the overhang a turtle was swimming. We spent the entire afternoon playing in the water and looking at jumpers and at hesitating nervous kids and even adults. I saw a sign that ice cream is sold. There is lots of space to lie down in the sun, but places with shade are very limited. The water of the river is typically very warm and comfortable. It's a very beautiful and very easily accessible waterfall where you can also jump down without the fear of hurting yourself. You can swim there or just walk through the water on the upper side of the waterfall. You should bring water shoes, though, as there are some very sharp stones. The color of the water is just amazing and there are always some locals. There is also a fireplace there. The reason why I have deducted one star is because there was a log lying around with the inscription "Go away tourists!". This lead me to believe that many locals seem to dislike having foreigners there, so you might be confronted with that. Luckily, no one harassed us, maybe also because we were such a large group, but you gotta look out for that and be cautious what you do or what you say, so you won't anger anyone...

Attached to a Powerbee handle (not floating),

Additionally secured with a black zip tie for extra safety.
