Read moreWe visited this place with my 4 years old child and participated for the guided tour. The train run through on the park on one hour. You do not have chance to get off and look around and get on the same or another train. The train stopped one time where the poor elephant lives and that was it. We did not stop where the dinosaure footprint visible. It was hard to take picture because the train never stopped for couple of second when we saw animals or famous trees or buildings. This was boring and did not meet my expectation. The electrical car is very expensive. I suggest to stop with the train where the dinosaur footprint and Roman buildings visible. I guess 15-20 minutes enough. Children can move a bit and look around. I also suggest to spend more time in the safari park. It was 10minutes which was enough to see the elephant and turtle but we could not visit the...
Read moreBrijuni island is amazing and we paid for the tour, but to be honest I am not sure it was worth it. We went for a electric train ride around the island with a tour guide (she was great), but safari park was a lot less than we expected. We saw few zebras running around, goats, donkeys, and at the end we saw poor elephant Lanka, which is alone since another male elephant died 8 years ago. It was so sad seeing her like that. There is also one turtle, also alone. Beside that we saw few birds and basically that was it-not what you would expect when you think of safari. As we found out, most of the animals that were originaly there, came as a present to Tito, but also, most of them died, and without giraffes, lions etc, it is not really fair to...
