I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful mountain recently, and I am still completely amazed by the experience. The view from up here was simply stunning! It was a magical place where you could see the city of Split glowing in the distance, with the majestic mountains extending behind it. And all of this set against the backdrop of the sparkling sea.

Although the planetarium was unfortunately closed, it didn't bother me at all. The breathtaking view of the sunset more than made up for this small setback. It was a breathtaking spectacle that I won't forget anytime soon. The colors of the sky as the sun slowly set were simply fantastic. It felt like nature was showcasing its entire repertoire of colors.

The ambiance up there was unreal. The tranquility and serenity you feel when you let your gaze wander over the landscape are indescribable. It's the perfect place to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and simply savor the moment.

Getting to the mountain was relatively straightforward, and the signage was clearly visible, making it easy to find your way. It's definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of nature and be enchanted by the spectacular views.

Overall, my visit to this mountain was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Even though the planetarium was closed, I never got bored thanks to the breathtaking sunset view. I will definitely come back to relive the beauty of this place.

If you're looking for a location where you can enjoy breathtaking views and witness an unforgettable sunset, this mountain is the perfect...

As an amateur stargazer, I was excited to learn about an observatory at the top of the hill. The drive there was very difficult. Narrow streets and quite steep. The weather helped, providing an amazing starry sky. The guy at the observatory took us directly to the telescope deck and immediately started telling us about saturn, that was out that night. We were shown saturn, jupiter and the globular star cluster M13. I must say that when it comes to stargazing I'm quite easy to impress ☺ He then took us outside and started pointing at stars and constellations and telling us about them. To me, an unforgettable experience. Bring a sweater as it gets quite...

Star village or village of stars would be translation. Nice view on Split and around as well as good place for children. And it is especially lively during Night of museums where is free with special program. As I have family house just below the hill we were often climbing while the building was not finished as it was abandoned for a long period before it was finally completed. And it is interesting that road was at least partially built by young volunteers from all over ex Yugoslavia as part of famous ORA (omladinska radna akcija or youth...

Great place to see sunsets over the Split bay area. Only accessible by car, beware of narrows streets with sharp turns and steep ascents/descents. Don't drive up there if you feel uncomfortable with that. Friday and Saturday it is possible to gaze at the stars. Check website before doing so, sometimes the observatory is closed due to holidays. In this case it's still worth going up there for the sunsets.

Beautiful view from 700m above sea level 🤩 You can see Italy far away, the town Split and the islands. It's accessible by car or foot. There is even a bus that goes all the way up. Not a big parking, as one would expect. It can be very cold and windy, even when it's sunny and warm in the foothill.
