The Dragović Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery situated on a hill downstream the Cetina River not far from Vrlika in Croatia. When the artificial Peruća Lake was created, the original monastery sank due to land movement. The new monastery Dragović was built on a hill not far from the previous one.

The Dragović Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery situated on a hill downstream the Cetina River not far from Vrlika in Croatia. Prije nego sam došla u manastir putujući divila sam se prirodi oko njega, nestvarna rijeka, jezero, zelenilo. Sam manastir je izuzetno usklađen i odiše nekim mirom, ljepotom. Unutrašnjost manastira stvara vanvremenski osjećaj, U vrijeme moje posjete u unutrašnjosti manastira letjela ne lastavica, osjećala sam prisustvo samog Gospoda. Monasi su preljubazni i susretljivi. Priroda oko manastira je toliko lijepa da zaboravite svu ružnoću vajskog svijeta.

Predivno mjesto velike duhovnosti i divnih ljudi koji ga vode. Monah Luka potrudio se odgovoriti na sva pitanja i podijeliti svoju dobru volju i misli s nama. Najbolje je doći iz smjera Koljana pošto put s brane nije asfaltiran u dužini cca 5 km.

The place is beautiful, but the road condition of the last approximately ten kilometers is awful. There is no hard surface road just makadame road. The monks have an offroad vehicle because of that. There aren't any other things for see, I'm not shure it...

Centuries of history, christianity here preserved despite all attacks on it. Three times rebuilt. A place of worship and peace on the lake. Old monastery is hidden under the lake, appearing...

Not alot to see and very remote but I guess that's why they like it the road in is now tarmac and no longer dirt road At best 15mins peaceful walk...
