Beautiful place to visit and Really nice bridge.the bridge, the mountains and the sea together with the sky is making a amazing picture.who is passionate for photos shoot, this is a Great place to have some interesting shots your own. also when the boats passing by on the strait it's making really lovingly pictures to great shots by over the bridge.only one thing still i couldn't find is a post (like a check point ) little bit away from the bridge on the mountain. there seems like bullet holes on the walls, still i can't find what was that place.i want to ask or it's like a request as a nature loving person, to all the local and the foreign tourists please respect these places and the nature.do not throw the things you bring there, what ever you have to litter, please find a proper place (like a bins or garbage cans) to litter it without throwing all over the place or to the near by bushes or to the near by sea.please respect the ambient of this places and keep it clean for the future and for the future generations (that's our duty).please remember what i...

Prekrasan pogled

The bridge was designed by Jure Radić, and built by Konstruktor, Split, between 1993 and 1996, using free cantilevering with temporary cable-stays. The reinforced-concrete arch was executed in 5 m (16 ft) long segments, matching spandrel column spacing. Prefabricated girders required for the structure were executed and prestressed in a purpose built plant on the site. The same plant was subsequently used to produce Jersey barriers used as bridge protective barriers.

The bridge is significant as it is the first motorway reinforced-concrete arch bridge comprising a substantial span executed in Croatia.

On 21 December 1998 the speed of a gust of wind on the Maslenica Bridge was measured at a record speed of 248 kilometres per hour.

Subsequently wind protection structures have been executed along the motorway section comprising the Maslenica Bridge, since the 15 km (9.3 mi) long section was completely closed to traffic due to strong wind from time to time - for a total of 6 days and 19 hours in 2007, and 13 days and 2...

My wife and I spent a week at Villa Antigone in Kaštelir (24-30.06.2025) and it was a fantastic experience. Villa was very clean and perfectly decorated with everything thought out down to the smallest detail.

The sleeping rooms, sitting room, pool and yard were superbly maintained and clean. This is really a perfect place to relax with family or friends. The area is very quiet, but close to Poreč and the coast.

I uterly recommend it to

anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and privacy while on vacation in...

Definitely a must see. With its red color the bridge reminds people of the bigger golden gate bridge. There are tracks on both ends of the bridge, you can use them to descend a bit into the valley and take phantastic pictures of the landscapes. Including the bridge! Of course you could also take off the bridge. There are good sidewalks on both sides. Additionally one can do bungee jumping off the bridge. (Phone Nunber for that visible on the bridge)

A promontory on the Croatian Novigrad Sea (bay of the Adriatic Sea), located next to the Maslenički road bridge (Maslenički most), which was destroyed during the Croatian War of Independence in 1991. Reopened in 2005. At the end of headland the road and a small wharf are remains of the pontoon bridge - A temporary alternative solutions while the main connection was destroyed.
