I recommend visiting this quiet little town Novigrad, only a 40-minute drive from Zadar, and be sure to climb up this hill and visit the fortress ruins. The view is magnificent! You can see Novigrad see (Novigradsko more) very well known for its great-tasting mussels, both new and old Maslenica bridges (the white one and the red one), and pictoresque mountain Velebit overlooking it all. Spend some time sitting there feasting your eyes and you can skip your daily...

Lovely picturesque town with interesting streets to explore and ruined castle to climb up to. We went early morning and climbed up to the castle before it got too hot. It's a short climb but sensible shoes\sandals recommended. We then called in at the church before stopping for coffee and water at one of the little bars at the bottom...

Klare 5 ⭐️👍🏻
