Nice relaxing place to stay. With regard to the "Eko" aspect, I didn't see anything that would be considered eco friendly, no recycling, no solar panels, no rain water collection so in that respect its not really an Eko park more just a farm/country side holiday. They do have a small crop with some vegetables, which are used in the restaurant.
The staff were all lovely, very nice, friendly & couldn't help enough. Restaurant is reasonably priced, limited menu, childrens menu only available at weekends. Wifi is available free of charge but is not available in the bungalows. Bikes can be rented by the hour for 20kunas (less than €3) per person, no separate price for kids, there are only 3adult sized bikes available. I stayed with my two children in a triangular bungalow for 1 week. In the bungalow there was a TV with a few channels, air conditioning, a bathroom with a great shower & a small kitchen. We had to request a fridge as the bungalow doesn't come with a fridge. The beds were very comfortable. The bungalow had nowhere to hang or store clothes, apart from one hook on the bathroom door & also had no indoor seating or table, maybe it was taken out to make space for an extra bed for us?! The farm area was very nice, the animals are really friendly, deers come straight over to be fed grass. Trampolines & train rides are only at the weekend. Horse riding can be organised on site 150kunas (€20) for a trip around the forest 2-3 hours, no reduced price for children.
Overall Eko park is a great place to stay as a family. The staff here are what made this place...
Read moreThe one star is just because the location is nice. We weren't using accommodation, just the restaurant. We ordered a mixed meat plate, ćevapi and lungić. The plate had a piece of hair on one piece of the meat, ćevapi were not served with traditional pastry they are ALWAYS served with (lepinja/somun), the reason was "they didn't have any", so we had to get bread as a side, which is, of course, paid separately. Lungić (pork loin) was not at all pork loin. I think it was just some low quality meat filled with the same quality level cheese and "prosciutto". The meat was extremely dry and had a texture nowhere near how pork loin should taste like, and it was definitely way past overcooked. Of course, there was no side to that dish either, so we had to get a side for that too, separately, even though that piece of meat was already way too expensive. The side for it was grilled vegetables, half of which were not properly grilled/cooked, some were pretty much raw. To sum it up: Absolutely horrendous food, the place itself looks like it has potential but hasn't been maintained since it was built, the prices are WAY too high, especially because the food quality is awful. Thanks for letting me know where not to go...
Read moreWe spent a lovely day in the nature. They have animals such as donkeys, deers and pigs. You can come close and pet them if you get lucky. It's great for kids.||||They build many wooden houses and named them after Croatian sweets produced by a company named Kraš. Thete is a cute and nice pool in the center of the place.||||There is a restaurant and you can eat in the self-service as much as you want for 80 kn. There is a big terrace so you can really enjoy while eating.||||We really loved it and the parking lot is huge. They also put signs on the highway so it's really easy to find it.||||I reccomed it, great place for relaxation and good time with family...
