Very good photo spot!!! The point here is that you have to stop at the right place: In fact, you really "just" have to follow the signs for Pijana pruga. But the last inscription is barely legible, which is why many people get lost. We went from Opatija, not on the toll road. You are following the Google route planner. They passed under a small stone bridge/overpass, on. Moving on, there will be a small church on the left, leave it and go further and further. You have to follow the sign Pijana pruga. The last sign is no longer really visible, so follow the sign SALAMON. There will be an intersection where you will see a rear-view mirror, a large metal container, go up to the right and follow the Solomon sign. If you reach this pink house, you can stop behind it with a car. On this small road (gravel, stony) 5 minutes. After reaching the top, turn the left, a few meters and you are there. Other descriptions are not accurate and take 20-30...
Read moreOne of the most unique locations i've ever been. Even on a mostly overcast en rainy day it was still an amazing experience. We put our Google maps marker to this location but found it hard to find the right spot to be in to be able to enter the traintracks. If you find yourself in that same position drive to Crkva Svetoga križa, its a small church with a small field en gravel patch where you can park your car when it's not to busy. Please note that the road to the curch is very steap and tight. On the way up you will cross the traintracks, from there its only 50-70 meters to the curch. Park your car there and walk back down the road to the tracks and take a right turn on to the tracks. From there it's a 15 minute walk to the twisted rails. On the way you'll walk across a tall dam, a randomly placed bathtub and an...
Read moreNice place for some cool photos. To reach it, from the main road take the narrow road marked to Sv. Kvirin which leads you under the railway after about 500m (this road is marked as a dead end on Maps but it continues in reality). Park the car near the tunnel then climb to the railway and walk on it south for about 10 mins to reach the ''drunk'' part. Be careful for snakes and other creatures - you are in a natural park. We nearly stepped on a...
