Donji Kamenjak paesaggio protetto — Attraction in Općina Medulin

I would definitely recommend a visit to Kamenjak, I’d say it was a highlight of our holiday. There’s so much to do there and so much natural beauty. You pay 15€ to get in by card payment only. You pull over and the entrance and queue to pay, then you access though a barrier to go wherever you like in the park. Make sure you take plenty of cash, as once you get in it is cash only for food, drinks, ice creams and boat hire/aquapark etc. You could have a full day out there and see lots. There were a few parts we missed, purely due to lack of time so if you want to see it all, get there early! Things to take: beach shoes as there’s no comfortable ground, a snorkel and goggles, a picnic and plenty of water and the usual beach stuff. La mia vacanza estiva nell’ Oasi Naturale che vedete è situata nella punta della penisola Istriana, è un oasi naturale protetta a cui si può tranquillamente ( il costo del biglietto giornaliero è di poche kune) giungere in auto, bici o anche a piedi ( per i bambini c’è il meraviglioso percorso che li porterà a trovare le famosissime impronte di dinosauro, di millenaria antichità) , per poi raggiungere una delle tante calette o scogliere che si trovano sul promontorio e godere della vista di questo splendido mare e dei profumi derivanti dalla vegetazione tipicamente balcanica unita a quella della fascia mediterranea. Insomma una vera e propria oasi di bellezza e di pace, dove si può anche praticare tranquillamente il naturismo, a discrezione dei turisti, e dove ogni anno non riesco a fare a meno di farci una visita, ho dei ricordi troppo belli legati a questo luogo. Purtroppo è anche vero che la bellezza del luogo negli ultimi anni ha attratto così tanti turisti ( sia italiani che tedeschi che austriaci che sloveni... tantissimi) che giungono sempre nelle settimane in prossimità di ferragosto. quindi il paesino più vicino, cioè Premantura non riesce a contenere così tanti turisti che pur di venire a Premantura soggiornano in qualche altro paesino lì attorno, ma è ugualmente oberato di gente e di macchine e questo è un po’ un peccato per la tutela del oasi adiacente e per la tranquillità che si cerca venendo in questo luogo, privo di discoteche o altro ma dedicato a un turismo più eco compatibile e per persone che amano i viaggi, o venirci in moto o bicicletta portandosi una tenda. Così facendo ormai i prezzi per soggiornare o mangiare un po’ di pesce non sono più quelli della Croazia di 10 anni fa: sono diventati inaccessibili, senza parlare che il paese è davvero molto piccolo e le strade poco praticabili con un volume di gente del genere. L’ unico consiglio che mi sento di dare è di visitare questa meravigliosa radura nei periodi che vanno da Maggio agli inizi di Luglio, oppure dopo, cioè agli inizi di settembre quando si svuotano i vari appartamenti e hotel e/o Bed&breakfast e scendono i prezzi. If you decide to reach this panoramic point of you, I suggest you to drive and not going by walk 'cause it's pretty far from the main entrance of Premantura Park. While your driving on the main path, be careful with your car and respect the speed limit of 20km/h, in order to respect also the people around you. Don't worry you won't miss this amazing place and you'll be also able to park your car on the side of the road.
