This was a nice, couple hour outing for an afternoon in Brač. It had been recommended to us both in person and online. It was an overcast, slow day in late May so we were able to walk in without a reservation. During peak season I’d suspect you’d want to call ahead. Pricing started at 20€ per person. There might have been an option to increase in price for more offerings but we paid in cash so can’t remember exact pricing. The tasting offered: - (4) types of wine (featuring the “star" Plavac Mali Franulić) - (5) different types of Grappa - Locally grown/harvested/produced: olive oil and olives, anchovies, cheese, capers, bread, rock samphire, dried figs and a few other dishes. Everything was in an authentic traditional environment. We had our tasting in the big garden set in the middle of a collection of old stone houses. Marko (owner’s son) gave us a lot of attention and was eager to explain their operation and processes. We didn’t have the time, but they also offer a space in the complex with display of traditional tools and pottery used in the wine and oil production throughout the history of Brac island. Overall a really good experience that I’d recommend for anyone visiting Brač. *A little bit difficult to find so I included a map (from their website) of the exact location. Look for the round wooden sign with white lettering. *Only suggestion, non-drinker in our group had to pay full price. Not a huge issue as it wasn’t that expensive to begin with, but something to consider depending on your group.

Miserable! I really can't understand the good reviews… I wouldn’t even give this one star! I recommend to look for another winery for wine tastings. We were there one afternoon and the owner's son, I think his name was Marco, was completely listless and disinterested. We didn’t feel welcomed but we sat down anyways because we drove one hour for this wine tasting and on the web page it looked fantastic. He then brought us three different wines and a bit of bread and olive oil - but on request and then disappeared into a little room and played with his cell phone all the time. He didn't explain or tell anything of his own accord. We sat there and felt like:… okay this is kinda creepy and strange and sipped on our glass. We finally decided not to stay longer as it was getting really uncomfortable for us and bought a bottle of wine as courtesy for 80kn!!?. I have never seen such poor quality anywhere before… for this price you usually get really good quality of wine in other wineries (I strongly recommend Stina winery in Bol)! There were larger particles and hair floating around in the bottle (see pictures) - disgusting!! I wouldn’t even dare to give it away as a present. I know, there’s lo label on the bottle so no proof that’s from there but Marco said the white wines have not yet been labeled… maybe due to the poor quality.

Our experience was mixed. We enjoyed the location and chatting with Marco and the very yummy snacks and cheese. We also enjoyed tasking rejeska before having any food or wine even though it was a bit strong it was fun to try. The unfortunate part was that the wine was not very good. Our white wine was the best, but just had a simple light taste to it. Not very complex but good. Then we moved on to the rose which we didn’t like much at all. It was very grape juicy and again, I bit simple. We were hopeful about the red but we ended up not liking the red either. Somewhat bitter and not full bodied. Marco then brought us the final wine which was a port like wine and we enjoyed a taste of that but it isn’t the type of wine you have too much of in a sitting. There was just one olive oil to taste and it was very good. For reference we did a wine tasting tour at the Stina winery in Bol and loved it! We arranged a driver to bring us to Wine Tasting Brac from Bol because all the rental cars we rented. Our ride cost about €100 to get there and back from Bol. We also paid €25 per person for the wine tasting. All in all it was fun but we didn’t think it was worth the drive to get there unless you had other reasons to be in the area.
