Overall, I would give three stars due to the neglected and littered area especially around the parking and near the entrance, but the guide's knowledge (if I remember correctly, his name was Juraj; if I'm wrong, I apologize, I'm referring to the man with long hair) compensates for all the inconveniences. The guide has extensive knowledge about the cave and can answer practically any question I asked. Thanks to his ability to engage visitors, this tour makes sense, even though there is little to see. Additionally, the guide has a lot of knowledge about the island itself, and we thank him for pointing out some great places to visit after the cave tour. We hope that in the future, when we return to see the cave, there will be something new, and that the owners decide to further explore and exhibit it, because what is currently available to tourists is not all that this cave...

As I already seen some caves, Biserujka wasn't that rewarding as some others I've seen.

It is a very short walk, some 100m, with all the wonderful stalagmites and stalactites that are sparkling under artificial lights. There is also a tour guide (for free) who will tell you all the facts about the cave - you can find them on the Web with a simple Google search though.

The entry price is 30HRK, and for me was a bit pricey as the cave is really small and really nothing special if you have seen caves of this kind.

I enjoyed the rocky exterior of the cave much more, a perfect example of Krk vegetation and architecture, not to mention the amazing views over Kvarner and small bays around Krk.

TL;DR - Totally worth it if this is your first cave ever, otherwise you are better off exploring the routes...

A true karst gem under Krk—Biserujka Cave

Discover a magical underground world just minutes from Rudine. Though modest in size, Biserujka Cave dazzles with elegant stalactites, stalagmites, and sculptural pillars across its atmospheric chambers—from the Great Hall to Cypress Hall.

A constant 13–15 °C temperature offers a welcomed retreat from summer heat. The site holds ancient secrets too: cave bear fossils, and a host of 28 species, including rare Kvarner-endemic crustaceans.

The experience is polished for all ages: well-lit pathways, guided tours, and a nearby educational trail to Slivanjska Bay. Whether you’re a nature lover, spelunker, or seeking respite from the coast, this hidden underground wonder is unforgettable.

The cave is small but very beautiful, there are very nice stalactites/stalagmites/stalagmates and the short walk is doable in sandals, just watch your step, it is a bit slippery. The temperature is around 15°C and it was very pleasent inside during the heatwave. Inside are some lights, everything is nicely visible. Taking pictures is allowed but DON'T USE FLASH! Our female guide was amazing, told everything about the cave, how did the exploring go, told very interesting things about human impact on the cave and at the end she gave answers to our questions. It is such a nice thing to see the enthusiasm and feel it thru the guided tour. Entrance fee for the cave is 6 € per person (4 € for children) and for that you receive a guided tour, the price is very reasonable.
