Trstenica Beach — Attraction in Općina Orebić

Pros: Mixed pebbles and sand beach, up to individual taste Beautiful surrounding islands Cons: No changing booth (in most of Orebić beaches there are none) No barrier for boats Dirty toilet, smelling terribly on the promenade Tall concrete walkway along the beach, ideal for someone to get injured Poor beach bar with jet ski in the middle of the beach No trash bins

Natural properties of the beach are probably common for the area. Shallow rocky bottom which is unpleasant for swimming but still, this is allegedly the best beach in Orebić...that's the saddest...

Wonderful beach. There is a beach shower free of charge. The water in the morning is very clear and in the evening too if there are no strong waves. The only thing that is depressing is that there is a certain amount of cigarette butts and small garbage on the beach. I do not understand those who are on the beach and start smoking (why should everyone around smell the stench of their cigarettes!?) and then leave their cigarette butts on the beach. Take your garbage from the beach with you or throw it in the trash. Let's respect others and not...

I have ambivalent feelings about Trstenica beach. On one hand, its shallow waters are good for kids, it has public free showers and there’s wc in a cafe (we didn’t use it since our house was located just on the beach). On the other hand, it is very dirty, the surface in the water is strange - it’s like a big solid rock which gets slippery, and after 17:00 the beach is in total shade (as of end of August/beginning...
