Matošin Winery — Attraction in Općina Primošten

Amazing wine and olive oil tasting experience. The owner is super nice and knowledgeable, but doesn’t interrupt or disturb with too much information unless asked. Also we were the only group there and it felt really private. The olive oil had herbal tones and smelled completely different from any other oil I’ve come across. Then the wine. Today, my friends and I visited this fantastic winery. Ivo provided us with a wonderful selection of wines and the most amazing Peka. We ordered the rooster, veal, and octopus Peka, all of which were amazing, but the octopus definitely stood out. It was our first visit in any winery. We are happy that this one was our first choice. Beautiful remote place, extremely peaceful and charming. The owner was very polite and talked us through the whole process of wine making. We had a wine tasting with a cheese plate after which we just had to by our favorite bottles of wine.
