Muzej Radboa — Attraction in Općina Radoboj

I spent one day in the museum and it was really great experience for me! The presenter Ivana led a group of children in an tailor-maid way and described the past of the region - from time when the Pannonian Sea was here around, through the first settlements and mining, to the present days. We heard interesting facts about the first fossil vine leaf and production of wine, she presented legends... The highlight was at the end of the tour when we got VR glasses with which we went through the entire process of growing a grape berry, until the moment it ended up in the wine press....

As a person living near the museum, I visited with friends from Slovakia. A person working there, Ms Ivana, took her time and guided us through a whole museum. She was very nice, patient and knowledgeable. I recommend to visit a museum in Radoboj. It is a small place...

Leider enttäuschend, das Museum besteht lediglich aus 2 großen Räumen mit sehr sehr wenigen Exponaten, leider gibt es keine englischen Erklärungen, wenn man die Interbetseite zu Hilfe nimmt geht es. Schön ist, dass die Fossilien digital in Tiere oder Pflanzen umgewandelt sind und auf großen Bildschirmen dargestellt werden. Die Souvenirs sind eher dürftig. Leider gab es keine echten Mineralien oder Fossilien. Hier könnte man so viel draus machen, schade. Aber ganz nettes und...
