Winnetou Museum — Attraction in Općina Starigrad

Being open for two hours a day, an hour on the morning and one in the afternoon, at the time when people are at the beach, it doesn’t deserve more than one star for the mete existence since I couldn’t visit it. It’s pity that all interesting places in this country are open on the bureaucracy time schedule instead of being available at most visitors convenience....

A good end of a morning walking through the movie locations from the movies in the national park across the road (1km away). A few props from the movies. Not sure if any of the costumes or the dressing rooms set up were authentic but lots of great photos on the walls. Open 11am-12 noon and then again 5pm until 6pm. Admission is...

Ich werde wohl doch noch zum großen Winnetou Fan. Wir kommen schon einige Jahre hier in der Nähe auf den Campingplatz, aber das Winnetou Museum ist irgendwie an uns oder wir an ihm :-) vorbei gegangen. Klein aber fein, überschaubar aber trotzdem sehr interessant und informativ. Diverse Original Filmrequisiten aus den Filmen, aber überwiegend Bildmaterial geben einen Einblick in und über die Filme. Ist ja scheinbar auch das Original Motel in dem die ganze Film Crew incl. Schauspielern damals gewohnt hatten bzw untergebracht waren . Echte Winnetou Fans werden das natürlich alles schon wissen und kennen, aber definitiv einen Besuch wert. Daumen hoch und 5 * * * * * . Eintritt war übrigens frei, man ist aber dankbar für eine kleine Spende für den Erhalt...
