Prapratno beach is really stunning when viewed from the highway, driving on narrow access road all the positive impressions started to disappear... where should I start: huge garbage containersis is the first thing that you will see instead of the wonderful soft sand. Furthermore, the parking lot is too small, during the two hours of my stay there, there was few argument between frustrated drivers due to the cramped conditions. There were only one dressing room and one shower placed on the beach. Shower was already so worn out that they had to install a string to release the water pressure when showering. Now let me just look back at the sandy surface. It is the finest and smallest sand, standing on it gives the impression of the finest carpet, a feeling of real comfort. In August there were a lot of people, so crystal clear sea (which this beach is to be known for) was not visible from the raised sand. When your swwimming is ower an you wish to take a shower and get dry, then your preoblems begin: sand is everywhere around, on towel, slippers, bathing suit, hair, between foot toes, the rest you can imagine yourself. Free Parking next to the beach (and at the streets near it). If the parking ist full, use the parking at the camping site next to the beach. It costs 50KN per day, but its worth the money to avoid trouble with the police and the local residents. If you're at the camping site you can find there free shower ;-)
Nice little shop with really affordable prices at the camping site near the beach (KN, EUR, all cards accepted).
A small bar is located at the beach (cash KN and EUR (1-Euro-Coins and higher).
The restaurant at the camping site has really affirdable prices for good meals. If you ask friendly you can get it 'to go' to take it to the beach.
Really recommended place to visit,...

You have a shower on the beach where you can wash away the salt after you get out of the water. You can buy ice cream on the beach and cold drinks. Also there is a cabin where you can change in your beach clothes. There are also two ecological toilets in the parking lot, very close by. It is one of the few beaches that has sand, very fine sand and not stones. You have also a supermarket in the camping site with good prices. You need to know that you can pay only in Kuna, the local currency, or with credit card, but you can exchange money at the camping reception. Very impressed. For sure...
