Aweful experience! The parking lot needs to be flattened with some gravel. Be careful or it will damage your car from below!

The food in the restaurant was awful! My wife had fried octopus. It smelled and tasted awful. We sent it back via the manager. I had cevapcici. The worst cevapcici I ever tasted!

Behind the Camping-Houses is a container-toilet. The area looked like a drop-off for kitchen waste, but in fact was the home of a donkey that was chained to a tree to stand there all day long under the sun, all by itself. Careful, it's not for petting. the donkey will attack you!

Great spot, but a little far from the town if you don't have a car. It's around 5 km away and on a hilly path so it takes about an hour to get there if you walk.

People might tell you that it is a sandy beach (the only one "close" to town) but beware - if you visit in high tide (like we did), ALL the "beach" will be underwater.

Nonetheless, it is an incredible spot to lounge in shallow waters or swim...

Localizada a aproximadamente 1:30 hora de distância da cidade nova de Hvar (75km), essa praia é, possivelmente, a mais bonita de toda a ilha de Hvar. O mar ali é azul transparente de tirar o fôlego e com certeza é uma das praias mais lindas que já vi, rivalizando fácil com Seychelles e Maldivas, na África. Essa praia está localizada numa área de camping para veículos e há muitas vagas de estacionamento e são gratuitas para quem vai de carro. Quem é campista, paga uma taxa ao governo da ilha. A área de descanso dessa praia é gigantesca. A água ali é transparente e calma, com metros e metros a perder de vista e sem nenhuma arrebentação da maré. O único problema é chegar até esse local, pois a rodovia D116, saindo da área de Jelsa, tem muitas e muitas curvas fechadas, atravessa todas as vilas da ilha de Hvar e há trechos perigosíssimos, sem nenhum acostamento e nem recuo para parar o carro, aí o motorista reza para não encontrar outro veículo no sentido contrário! Sim, essa praia é espetacular e com certeza é muito superior às praias mais visitadas de Hvar, mas só recomendo ir até este local se o visitante tiver mais de três ou quatro dias...
