Dvorac Janković Visitor Center — Attraction in Općina Suhopolje

We loved the place, the garden, the surroundings and especially the small Christmas fair in the evening. The whole place resonated with history, it has been recently restored and it combines tradition with comfort of a contemporary hotel.||But there are a few things that need more attention. We had a beautiful big bathroom but the hotel did not provide the usual toiletries you woud expect in a four-star hotel, there was a bathrobe, but there were no slippers. The staff was very friendly, but slightly amateurish. They made the room in the morning, but left the dirty cups and sucers on the desk.|Or, there was a very nice designer lamp in our room, but there was no socket to plug it in.|And last thing, I left a pullover behind, called the front desk immediately and they promise to send it to my home address. I called back a couple of times but I never received it and this experience left me with a...

Very nice, small hotel in a peaceful location. The rooms are as shown on photos, I stayed in a deluxe room with a terrace. Continental breakfast was satisfying and the staff was extremely professional and lovely. Everything is tastefully decorated and reasonably priced.

There’s some facility management that could be better: flickering lights in the dining room need fixing, shampoo dispenser in my room was faulty, reception tel number didn’t work as listed, no hot water in the entire hotel for a few hours because of a power outage in the boiler room. The staff reacted quickly and fixed the issue within 2 hours, but the hotel should have a better system to prevent this or be notified of a power outage before the...
