Extraordinary example of a small museum depicting the local community living through history using traditional boat construction. The interactive setting is attractive to both adults and children ... even teenagers which are by default the most difficult audience to reach. The side activities (occasional workshops on various topics) as well as the real (functional) boats as exhibits in the port in front of the museum are also the testimony of the museum interaction with the local community, which is the key element defining this museum as a communication centre/entity. Nb. The entrance ticket is the best example of the museum spirit, inventiveness and originality. Congratulations to the design team and the current staff for keeping the ball rolling!

Beautiful and important museum related to centuries old and rich local shipbuilding heritage, as well as life of local people in the past. We had a nice tour by Kate, who has great knowledge about the theme and who had professionally guided us through exhibition.
