Pros❤️ Beautiful Beach. Peacefull. The water is crystal clear. No dark rocks :)) You can watch sunset here and some cute little fishes 🐠 no sea urchins 🦔
The sun is here quite a long time - on the lef beach untill approx 7:30 pm in September.
Cons🧐 Payed parking. The road to access the beach is steep. The waves can be quite big. You can see and hear boats passing arround from a big distance.
There are 3 payed parking lots:
1st - next to the road, the parking without ramp is 10 eur/day (if you eat in the restaurant, you dont need to pay the parking, but the restaurant is not rated well so I would skip that. I would go to Hakuna Matata Beach Bar - good prices excelent food. Its 3 min drive from the parking - 30 min walk with amazing views - free parking)
2nd - parking with a ramp is 3 eur/ 1 hour.
3rd - downhill parking, closer to the beach, is 15 eur/day - its challenging to drive - its veeery steep.
Murvica consists from 2 beaches:
Left side - my favourite❤️ more quite, no trees, shade only under one big rock in the morning. I would use water shoes for easier access and little tent for a shade. But you can make it without them too. There is a stand for umbrella.
Right side - 2 patio - more loud, beach with shade and shade between trees. You can rent a padleboard- 5 eur. In high season there is also a bar open. The access to...
Read moreSmallish beach which you reach by either driving a short way down a very steep track to a parking area costing 10 euro or walk down from a bigger car park on the main road costing 13 euro for the day (also an hourly rate). The track is steep! The beach is a pebble beach like most on Brac and the water is pristine. Was our favourite beach on the whole island and much less crowded than Zlatni Rat just further along the coast but still gets busy and lower car park gets full. There is a beach bar up behind the beach which does food and drink. There are trees for shade all day and some of the cliffs/ overhangs give shade in the morning. Snorkeling is great as the water is crystal clear and the beach was very clean. There were no sea urchins in the water and it was pebbles to walk into the water on not big rocks....
Read moreAmazing beach, amazing nature great for an all day stay because of the shade form the pines.
The only issue is the local "poduzetnik", don't know his name, that has a concession for the parking lot on the road to Murvica. We stopped with the car to see where the beach is and where to park, and he came running towards us threatening us unless we park on the parking lot that he owns, or as he said, he owns the entire road (public road by the way). My husband, my 5 year old kid and me. First time in Murvica. Thought he was gonna fight us. Parking is not too expensive, 12 euros for a full day, but the approach...
