Must see when visit this area of island. There is a good road and parkinh just under the smaller hill where old church stands. You can walk from the city too - 15 min walk. It is an area where original city was situated before relocating to the current postion in 15th century. Greenery around the church and remains of old monestary are amazing. There are benches with tables under the trees for quick rest or picnic.

You can enter monestary remains and walk around (no ticket needed), but...

In the time of our visit the church was closed, but anyway it was a nice walk to see the church at least from outside and the ruin of Stari Grad behind the church. Beautiful view from the top to whole town of Pag and Solana fields. Parking space is free of charge under the church, from where you can take two different ways - entweder stairs or natural way, have a rest or picnic under the trees on the benches with tables. Saw the church sign from town while driving through and pleased we drove for a look and walk. Very quiet and peaceful with some signs explaining the history and loads of benches and picnic tables to relax in the shade of the trees. The church was closed but still worth a visit, there was quiet of lot of broken glass and cigarettes in places which is a real shame, not the fault of the church of course but some of the...
