One of our favourite beaches on Rab island…however, be aware that it is very small so it can get crazy busy during the day. We were lucky to visit it in early June before the high season kicked in. The best is to grab a beach umbrella with sunbeds as there is not much shade there otherwise (20€ per day)…but there are literally only few of them so it’s best to get there early enough. In all the reviews it reads that the beach is sandy, but it is a rougher type of sand (more pebbly and not as fine and soft as on Paradise beach, Lopar beach or Mel Kampor beach - therefore not ideal when you want to build sand castles with your kids) I can honestly recommend this spot...
Read moreNice sand beach. There is lots of free parking spaces, good bar, free WC. It is good for families, but also good for swimmers. It goes nicely deep, no need to walk 100m. In 10-20m enough water. Unfortunately beach is quite small, even during corona crises was full today. I recommend in that case to get to nearby beach, about 500m closer to Barbat. It is also sand beach and more quiet.
