Vimos los emplazamientos en que comenzó la Revolución y me pareció muy interesante. Sin embargo, desde la empresa Ecotur (junto a los propietarios de la Casa Sierra Maestra) nos aseguraba que la visita a la Comandancia de Plata costaba 57 Euros por persona. Sabíamos por la guía Lonely Planet que ese era el precio de una excursión superior, con más emplazamientos a visitar y con el transporte incluido (nosotros estábamos ya allí y disponíamos de coche para poder subir). Estuvimos aproximadamente 2 horas esperando a que la señora que está en la oficina de Ecotur de Santo Domingo nos autorizase a entrar, pagando 22 Euros por persona y NO PERMITIENDO QUE ENTRÁSEMOS CON EL COCHE. Subimos los 5 kilómetros de cuesta que se suelen hacer en coche, andando y a 35 grados.
