Playa Las Gaviotas — Attraction in Caibarién

The water is beautifull, but the beach itself is full of black algae and black flies. Not very comfortable to swim. Not as long as many say, 10-15 minutes walk one way (on sand). I think it's a secluded place in low season, but when I was there people came with the same intention of privacy, I guess, and it was crowded. No shade, all the little "huts" are broken. Entrance is $5 (if you are not staying at Valentin Perla Blaca and do not have direct access to it) + transport from your resort (from $5 to $20 per person). Big...

Beautiful hiking spot. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes. As you enter the park, there are very nice guides that tell you about the place and where to go. the Entrance costs 4 Cuc per person for the complete day, they close at 5 pm.
