We were fortunate to have a few hours in the Historic Centre of Cienfuegos. It has a number of really historic buildings and is actually a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has lovely Neoclassical architecture and early 19th-century Spanish urban planning makes it very easy to explore. This actually fits in with the whole layout of Cienfuegos. If you have the time, you can look for the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedra, and the iconic Theatre Tomas Terry.
