Parque Almendares — Attraction in La Sierra – Almendares

When the sun is beating down on you all day, take a break and find some shade in Almendares Park. There is a playground for kids and several cafeterias or cafe type places to eat or get a drink, each with outdoor seating and paths.

It's nothing fancy, the park is definitely not what it once was, and you get the occasional whiff of polluted river, so I wouldn't say its a "must-do " but if you are.in the area, want a break from the sun, and to.See some amazing trees, it is worthwhile to wander down the broken steps just beyond the bridge on calle 23.

You can also rent a row boat to go out on the river but unless you want to just to.say that you did, I suggest waiting until there is a project to clean...

It was nice go get out of the city an take a couple hours off. I recommend going on weekends as it is deserted during the week. Yo must go and see the size of the tree. The waste shore needs some cleaning. My first time to see vultures in nature so yo might see some...

Слишком понравился парк!! Я мечтаю туда вернуться... так как мы проезжали его на красном ретро кабриолете в гангстерском стиле😄 ))) и всё!! Даже не прошлись там!! Но он поражает своими безумно впечатляющими огромными деревьями и фикусами высотой в дом... всё обвито лианами, зелёными как самый свежий сок киви, или древестными, немного мистическими. Мой друг сказал, что это парк в котором снимали Аватар. Я с ним соглашусь. Он нереальный!!!! Фото ну совсем не передадут ту нереальную реальность..... Если есть возможность, обязательно задайтесь целью...
