I am from Matanzas, and I remember when Fidel started the rehab. I and my paisanos were more than grateful for this service. Cubanos like myself have always supported El Commandante from way back in the 60's when he signed bills for socialized medicine and socialized education. Its funny that before Fidel, there was nothing but the mafia. One of my favourite places in Cuba. If you have been here before you need to return as they have changed so many things. The guided tour is different and they have added hundreds of english and spanish signs. Now it is a real museum and this place finally got the respect it deserves.
