Yellow sand and dark blue sea. Very close to the shore begins a part of the sea that is full of grass. There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the beach, but they are expensive. This is my first encounter with the Caribbean Sea and I was quite disappointed. If you visited Varadero and liked the beach and the sea, you should definitely not come here as it will be the ultimate...

nice beach. In May it was almost empty! there are chairs and umbrellas for rent (200pesos per person) the restaurant prices are reasonable as well, pay in pesos as the usd exchange rate is way more expensive. there is a bus coming from Trinidad, you can buy the ticket either at the tourist bus office or in the bus itself, however, only with card (5euro, the return...

The nicest beach around Trinidad. Plenty of sun beds and parasols. Not overcrowded. The only drawbacks are: 1) sand bugs (those little f* will annoy you and bite you a lot); 2) oligopolistic taxi business. But you can get a bus from Cubatour office in Trinidad to Ancon and back for 10 CUC (one of my pictures shows the bus schedule)

The free beach was dirty, full of seaweeds and not well cured at all. The so much dreamed Caribbean Sea was really disappointing, but this was probably due to the wind and the currents in that specific moment.

Went in winter when the water was tepid, but fine if you kept moving. Good to have some trees on the beach so it's not just artificial. Sand had some nice shells. The beach-lovers with me thought it was great.
