Los Acuaticos — Attraction in Viñales

Beautiful scenic spot in Vinales valley. Especially excellent to watch the sunrise. Very friendly people who live on the mountain are kind enough to welcome you and put some chairs out if you hike up to the top, please be mindful and respectful. The hike to the top is very easy and does not require any specials skills or hiking shoes, but if you are heading out in the dark a head lamp/light will make it significantly easier. This experience is not to be missed on your trip to Vinales. Very closely located...

We started at 06.00 in the morning from our casa in the Vinales, with arrenged old American car, for 30$ the ride to Los Acuaticos , waiting 3 hours and back (a short stop to Mural of prehistory) ....the walk from the car to the top of the hill, in the dark, lasted 30-40 minutes...the view was superb....the return with first light through the fields was excellent.......

An hour walk through the fields. It's accessible by horse or on foot. Guided tours can be organized in most casas particulares but you can also organize it on your own. On the top, there is a small hut which offers fresh juices, have one or two, relax and enjoy the incredible view...
