Nelion Winery — Attraction in Agios Nikolaos Pafou

A disappointing experience. we were 4 people who visit this place. Two of us tried their winetasting including a tour. The Price for that was fine. Not Very expensive as such. But the service from the older lady (maybe the owner) was really poor and disappointing. The idea of ​​having a winery is to give the customers a good experience. Not at any time did the lady take the time to explain about their vineyard, various of wines we tryied and the whole story behind it. we were given 8 different wines in the same glass, where she simply mentioned the name of the wines and year they wer produced - which also stood on the sign and acknowledged and then went away. if you aren’t passionate about your job as winemaker and dont care about customer service then you have to find something else to do. As tourists, we spend time driving high up in the mountains and choose to look past with great optimism and then sit back with a regret. I wouldn’t in any way recommend other tourists to visit this winery - there are a lot of others...

As I had cycled from Kato, Paphos, and still had 32 miles to get back to my apartment, my review is only about the cafe. Firstly the views from the cafe are stunning and very relaxing. Particularly as I was the only person there. They have various coffees and soft drinks. However, they did not have much in the way of snacks to have with my coffee, which, by the way, was very good. So I ended up having a kit kat. I can see why they don't stock the same food options as most cafes as I don't think they get that many people just visiting for the cafe.
