Read moreKelefos Bridge is probably the most well known of all the Venetian Bridges. It is certainly one of the more accessible ones, especially if you have tried to find Roudia or Archimandrita Bridge.
If you visit during summer, there may only be a trickle running under it. But if you are here during winter you are in for a treat.
When you visit, don't just take in the bridge. There is Elia Bridge up the road to see as well. But before you do that, cross the bridge and take the nature trail up the hill. It is a lovely route that will result in some lovely views of the reservoir.

It is incredible that here in the middle of a huge forest area there is suddenly a beautiful bridge built by the Venetians over the Varvaros River. There are actually three bridges on the route (Roudias, Tzelefos and Elia) and in the Middle Ages an important ore transport route from the mountains down to Paphos and the port passed through them.
