This Botanical Garden, nestled in the picturesque Troodos Mountains, is a charming and relatively small destination. With its ponds full of fish, sheds, and captivating plant life, it offers a delightful experience for all ages. Families, in particular, should definitely consider bringing their kids along, as the garden provides an enjoyable outing for young ones to explore and learn about nature. And the staff I met there were amazingly friendly and helpful.❤️ Nice place to chill, even alone.

Please note: it is only open during the first half of the day. Potable water is also available on site for free. I do not recommend visiting during the rains, or...

A hidden gem even the locals don't really know about!

This site was originally an old asbestos mine going back over 100 years and the government has been returning the site back to the natural landscape in an ambitious project over many years. You can really see their hard work coming through. Beautifully laid out with pools and streams and all the native trees and plants clearly labelled. They have converted the old schools house into a visitors centre with good public facilities. No café or shops just peaceful. Amazing views. Definitely worth...
