Our visit to Oliva Terra was nothing short of extraordinary! The Sofokleous family, the heart and soul behind this establishment, are profoundly knowledgeable. Their dedication to quality and authenticity is evident in every aspect of their business. The quality of their products is truly exceptional. Their olive oil stands out, rich in flavor and crafted with the utmost standards. The diversity and creativity in their olive oil-based products are astounding. Each item bursts with natural flavor and is free from chemicals. We were continuously delighted by new flavors, and Sofoklis, the owner, kept surprising us with her unique inventions, like the delicious watermelon and olive jam, with no added sugar, just to mention one! We also found perfect, authentic gifts for our family and friends, each item reflecting the genuine quality and beauty of Oliva Terra, and Cyprus. Beyond the products, it's the warmth and hospitality of the Sofokleous family that truly sets Oliva Terra apart. In just two hours, Sofoklis made us feel like we were part of her family. This sense of welcome is rare and contributed immensely to our memorable experience. The location itself adds to the charm. Surrounded by magnificent, ancient olive trees, the scenic beauty of the place is captivating. For anyone who appreciates exceptional quality, health-conscious products, and a warm, familial atmosphere, Oliva Terra is an essential visit. It's more than a destination; it's an experience that lingers with you long after your departure. I highly recommend a visit and...

We were lured to the farm by a banner suggesting an organic olive plantation. Once there, we were first invited to take a walk around the garden, and finally to visit the little shop. We did as suggested. We didn’t notice any large olive plantation - just a dozen or so medium-sized trees. At that moment, it didn’t strike us as odd.

When we entered the shop, the lady skillfully engaged us in conversation, seated us at a table, and suggested we try some olive oil with dry bread. We did, it tasted ok, though the price was rather steep (€15 for 200 ml and €20 for 600 ml). We didn’t ask about the production process - everything was arranged in such a way that you’d assume the olive oil was made on-site, which is NOT true. We realized this only after chatting with a waiter from a nearby restaurant and reading other reviews here.

The olive oil you buy there is regular imported oil (from Greece) sold at twice the normal price. Moreover, the shop offers a variety of other products, but don’t be fooled — it’s all imported goods, not locally grown or produced.

Also, note that every few months they change the brand and the design of the bottle in which they sell...

First of all I discover this place when I was searching travel blogs and I had just a little expectations, but I was very surprised in a positive way.

We came shortly after opening and there were no other visitors yet. We came on the farm and we were warmly welcomed by the owner. She show us the farm where are different types of olive trees and told us about 800 years old tree.

We spent some time just walking the farm and enjoying spectacular views. Then we went to taste local products. They were amazing. I haven’t known I like olive products that much. We tasted olives, different olive oils, marinated olives, olive honeys, olive spreads and so many other olive products.

It is a pitty we could not take a bottle of olive oil, because we had just hand luggage bought, and they would not let us board on plane. We bought at least some products in small packages - they are bit pricey, but they taste so wonderfull - ideal as souveniers. I will come back anytime I visit...

Very friendly Lady who showed us the olive farm. Of course she wanted to sell her products - but it's her job. We got a (free?) tasting of olive oil, pastes, olives and sweet stuff made out of olives and fruits. In the end, we were happy with what we brought: 1 bottle of 750ml olive oil (15€ she told us), 1 small paste (5€ she told us) and 2 small bottles of 300ml olive oil (we didn't ask for the price). In the end we paid 40€ which means we payed also 20€ for the two small bottles of 600ml olive oil all together - is it right or scam? We don't know. In fact, it was tasty and that's what counts (for us). Of course, it would be better if prices are visible at all time and not only said by the lady. In the end, she wanted us to stay for coffee, but we had to go. So she gave us home made cake for our way home - I guess that's what cyprus hospitality means. And by the way her dog (Luna) was so cute and peaceful sitting in there in a chair and watched everything :)
