We started our walk at the Epistopi Environmental Centre shortly after 9am last day of February. Just after a few hundred metres in at a fork make sure you take the right (smaller) path to get by the church. Otherwise the rest of the trail is nicely marked. It is a pleasant quiet path. We didn't meet anybody apart from friendly locals and loads of lizards and some frogs. About half way in there is a small shallow stream which you need to cross. We managed with dry feel with the help of some tires layed across. Further on we encountered several other stream areas but they were less challenging and added to the fun. I can imagine that this would be common in winter months. 95% is on dry road. The final ascent is a real pig. Short but gear 1 only. However eventually you can catch your breath under the magnificent rock. That was beautiful. Overall a great trip. When we got back we asked for the tour (€5) and the director was extremely happy to talk to us. Definitively don't give this a miss.

it's a great place for a walk and spend some time in nature. In winter, it's very beautiful and green here. Stunning hills, orange groves, and tangerine orchards The trail starts at the Episkopi Environmental Center, but this location is situated at a high elevation, so to access the trail, you need to descend and then climb back up. I recommend driving down and finding a parking spot near the bridge across the river. The descent and ascent are quite steep, which may be challenging for children, but it's safe. Right in the middle of the trail, you'll need to cross streams barefoot (February) . Keep that in mind.

Ezousa/Episkopi trail is a very nice not so difficult hike. Circular trail starts near information center and takes you through the village, near Ezousa river, through vineyards and beautiful green valley. The most interesting part for me was Episkopi Rock , so called Meteora of Cyprus. There is a small church on the top of that Rock. Don’t be lazy and climb up there to enjoy panoramic view. There is a small local coffee shop for some refreshments or if you are into wines - visit Cyprus Wine Tasting Room. Totally recommend this trail!
