A great and informative museum, that is worth a visit if you are in the area. We have entered the house from the back, and we wasn't sure where we had to go, but then we were in the court yard, by a lady. After we have paid our entry fee, we have been left alone ti explore the 3 downstairs rooms, which it remind me so much of my grandmother's house in the village. In the first room it was all about the making of honey and it's history. The second room it was about how they lived in the villages years ago, and the third room it was all about the agricultural side of life, with equipment from years ago. After we have finished from the downstairs section we have been taken to the upstairs part of the house which it was the embroidery museum. It had a lot of personal items on display and it was very informative. The old Legkaritika lace it was everywhere to he seen. I totally recommend the place as you learn a...

The Bee & Embroidery Museum is a truly special place that celebrates the rich cultural and natural heritage of Cyprus. Housed in a beautifully restored traditional home, the museum showcases exquisite local embroidery alongside fascinating exhibits about beekeeping and honey production.

The combination might sound unusual at first, but it works perfectly – offering insight into the craftsmanship and rural life of the region. The embroidery is delicate and stunning, a real testament to generations of skill, while the bee exhibits are informative and engaging.

The hosts were kind and passionate, eager to share stories and answer questions. You leave not only with a deeper appreciation for Cypriot traditions but also with a smile on your face.

Don’t miss this little gem if you’re in the area – it’s both educational and...

The place will impress those with genuine interest on learning a bit of history and tradition. The museum is a collection of everyday items kept by the family who owns the farm. Despite being small, there is a lot to learn here.

Our host spent about a hour talking to us explaining about bees, farming, plants, etc. Quite entertaining and warm person.

The place also has some homemade products at affordable prices which I had to buy of course. Highly...

Worth a visit! Family owned museum where you can learn about the production of honey and go back in time and visit the house of a former representative of Lefkara laces. Very interesting! Moreover the village is well preserved and you can enjoy a small walk around old stone houses. Definitely a far better choice than visiting the super touristic Lefkara.
