Very poor customer service. Even though the place is lovely and the wine was okay (good were only 3 out of the 9), the customer service was really bad. We had a reservation for a tour and tasting... when we arrived they just told us 'sit down' we were handed a card and the wines were comming one after the other without even waiting for us to finish the wine in our glasses (most of the time she would spil mine all over the table as she would not even look when serving). The explanation of the wine was on the card. That was it. The "tour" was she opening a door saying this is the museum, and "look down" there were barils but once again : no explanation whatsoever. There were laptops, computers old televisons and sowing machines... not much to do with wine honestly. And that was it. More interrested in getting your money than making you live...

First of all: I’m not a regular review writer, but I felt that I had to share this. We had a horrible experience, which was surprising considering the fact that the winery was suggested to us by our hotel tourist officer. Upon arriving, we were told that they only do wine tastings (€4 for 9 little sips). We agreed, expecting a full explanation…. But no. They poured the drink (inside, we could not sit in the garden to enjoy the nice scenery) and pointed to the bottle mentioning the name and that was it. The whole ‘experience’ lasted around 10 minutes… I don’t recommend at all!

The two women who were present were not friendly at all. We had the impression that they just wanted us gone.

Maybe we just got unlucky, seeing all the other...

So we went to the winery for the wine tasting. Reasonable price 4 euro for 9 wines to taste. Two women were working the day we went and one of them said the girl who speaks English was not in work so the explanation of the wines would have to be translated by one of the two people in the group who were local and could translate. Very brief if any explanation for the wines were given. We were not allowed outside to do the tasting. The tasting lasted all of 10 mins. It felt like they wanted rid of us. At one point the lady serving asked one of us to hurry up and drink so she could pour the next wine. You barely got to taste one wine and the next one was being poured into the glass. The grounds were lovely but the experience was not...

You simply must visit Christoudia winery! It's nestled in an idyllic location between mountains with simply magical views. The couple who founded and runs the winery are so sweet- highly recommend chatting with Alexia! The wine was superb and I wish we had made it in time for the brunch as I have heard wonderful things! The wine tour was free and the wine tastings were very reasonably priced. Also, the soutzoukos was delicious too, especially the kind dipped in dark chocolate (Alexia is a genius!) :)

I often hike between Vavla and Kato Drys, a beautiful valley in Cyprus. Unfortunately, the harmony of this valley is interrupted by a landfill of abandoned vehicles and wrecks that surround the Cristudia Winery. I will not comment on the wine itself because if this is how they care and respect the environment and the winery, I shudder to think about what their wine could be like. What a pity! I hope to return next year and see some improvements and maybe a cleaning of the area...

Lovely wine farm to visit for wine tasting and a delicious brunch. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Beautiful white and red wine, and koumandaria. Delicious home made food, including jams, fresh figs, salads, halloumi with honey, etc. you must have their banana pancake! Spacious indoor seating on a hot day with a large outdoor balcony that overlooks their vineyard. A great large swing to enjoy as well. A very friendly donkey that loves a scratch on his head.
