The waterfalls and baths are quite spectacular and not something you'd expect to find nestled up in the mountains. Lots of people have commented on the drive there, and I was even stopped by a fellow tourist [as I left the access road] who asked if it was safe. The answer is yes, just take it slow, keep in first or second gear and you'll be fine. I hired a VW Golf and it managed without any problems. Once there, there is a strange museum you go through before reaching the first bath and waterfall. I didn't understand the museum and it was all rather odd, but kind of cool in a quirky way. The first pool is reached by winding an uneven stone steps, so watch your footing and take it slow. Once you get to the main pool, it really is a sight for sore eyes. The water is a lovely blue/green and you can jump in off the low hanging tree branch if you're feeling brave! The water is COLD so the jump is definitely the best way to get in. The pools do get busy, particularly if larger tour groups arrive, but it's just luck of the draw whether that happens or not. The second pool is the higher and less busy of the two, as it's smaller but actually more picturesque in my opinion. The statues are a nice addition - particularly the golden Priabos - and the Amphitheatre was a lot bigger than expected. There are lots of amenities such as toilets, bars and changing rooms on site so it caters well for visitors. I've given 4 stars as I found the safety of the pools and in particular the second higher bath/pool very lacking and it's easy to lose your footing and have a nasty accident. All in all, it's worth the trip and will cost about €40 for a family of 5.

Mixed reviews about Adonis' Waterfall have almost stopped us from visiting the place. I'm glad we ignored those - the place is wonderful, especially if you are a nature lover. The waterfall itself is not that big but it's really beautiful, with a small lake of fresh water to dip in and another smaller waterfall at the top. There is also Adonis gorge where you can have a lovely walk - just remember to wear your hiking boots. There's a small museum about local history with quite a few artifacts and a few cafes to get a drink and snacks from. We visited in December and it was pretty quiet. Many have complained about the entrance fee being high (€10, cash or card, cash preferred), although I think you can easily justify it given the cost of the upkeep of the place, plus the car park is free and the toilets are very clean. We found the statues from Greek mythology adding a bit of humour to the place. And if you choose to drive, be prepared for an up and down winding dirt track, quite bumpy, narrow at times, but not as bad or scary as described in most reviews.

The location itself looks wonderful. You can bathe in the cold lake and enjoy the beautiful nature. The road to the destination is quite bad in parts! If I was with my own car I would have turned around half way and given up, of course the rental car lasted... ‼️ Do not take a taxi to this destination because the taxi drivers only dropped off people from our group halfway and they didn't want to drive further, and since the drivers were locals, they knew what kind of road was waiting for them there, but they accepted the ride, which evidently proves that they wanted to make money from tourists. Leaving people in the middle of the sun in the middle of nowhere is really unprofessional! My friends experienced it and we wasted a lot of time going back to get them twice. PRICE: The ticket price is a bit too high in my opinion. There is the option of a safari Jeep tour, which I believe is interesting, but there is an additional charge so that is another additional cost on top of the ticket itself, if you want to experience something more. We asked the same safari Jeep to pick up a part of the team that was left halfway, for money, and they politely and arrogantly refused us, so we automatically did not want to take the safari Jeep.

We went to Adonis Waterfalls in the beginning of september. We’ve paid 9euro/ticket to enter the park. In our eyes it is worth every euro. It is a very nice place to visit. We went with our rental car (which was a VW Golf). It is not the best road to get to the waterfalls. It’s 3km in gravel on a road which goes around a mountain. If you are not a skilled driver i would suggest to go with a 4x4 van or a buggy. But after a bad road you get to a paradise. There are two little lakes where you can swim. There is a waterfall falling down in one lake. In this lake you can stand under the waterfall. From this lake there is another waterfall falling down in the secondary lake. This is the biggest lake. In the middle of this lake there is a tree where you can jump down from. Overall Adonis waterfalls is besides it’s road a recommendation. It’s nice surroundings and it’s lakes and waterfalls make sure it looks like you are in paradise.

The location is beautiful but it is a nightmare to get to! We drove ourselves to the area. It is well signposted and the signs say that it is suitable for all vehicles - but it really is not! The roads are narrow and treacherous - it is quite bumpy and it is more like travelling off road - If you are going to drive up then make sure you have a well equipped car or hire one of the quads available (or take a jeep safari). The area itself is beautiful but personally I don't think it's worth the 9 euro fee to get in. The pool is lovely and cool, we got there early but I can imagine it gets quite busy with people wanting to spend a bit of time going into the natural pool. There's a few paths leading off to different areas but you would need to have decent foot ware as there are streams and it's a bit rocky and it makes it a little bit slippery. Overall it's okay - beautiful views and some statues, but not worth the cost IMO.

Description
Adonis Baths is a waterfall near Krya Vrysi and Lakkos tou Fragkou. It is located 267 m above sea level. In the village of Koili, in the province of Pafos, where Mavrokolympos flows, the waters gather and form a small waterfall. These waters over the centuries eroded the soil and formed a small lake.
