I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tsangarides Winery in Paphos, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon.

At just 20 EUR, we enjoyed a delightful tasting package that included four distinct wines, each carefully selected to showcase the best of the region. The experience was beautifully complemented by a generous platter featuring a curated selection of cheeses, cured meats, and fresh fruits—all perfectly paired to enhance the flavors of the wines.

What truly made the visit special was Angelos, the owner. His personal touch and genuine passion for winemaking shone through as he served us. He not only explained the nuances of each wine but also shared interesting insights about the winery’s history and the local terroir, making the tasting both educational and enjoyable.

Overall, Tsangarides Winery offers an exceptional value with its thoughtfully arranged tasting experience. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone in Paphos looking to explore local wines in a friendly,...

During the trip we stuck in middle of mountain in mud, taking road sugested by google. Hopefy we had most mazing person Angelos, the owner of vineyard who pulled us out. He even been open for one more hour, because of our detour.

The wine quality is outstanding, really balanced and fragrant flavors. Rose, chardonnay, Xynisteri, was my absolute favorites.

The cheese selection was also really good, especially i liked Kefaolotyri cheese.

If you planning for visit, you will not regret, but fallow asphalt roads, don’t take dirt...

UPDATE Sept 2024 - still the best winery in Cyprus despite them selling our of Xynisteri/Maratheftiko rosé before we got there!

UPDATE June 2023 - everything below still applies except they have increased their range, one new wine being a rosé made from Maratheftiko and Xynisteri grapes - really refreshing on a hot Cyprus day!

2022 Small (300,000 bottles pa!) family run winery producing very good wine, a fair bit of which is organic. Friendly, helpful people who go out of their way to help you make the...

This is a great place where you can discover Cyprus wines, have a wine tasting and also refill your cellar. For about almost 5 years we are coming to Tsangarides Winery for a nice view over the vineyards, for a lovely atmosphere, for a nice talk with the owner Angelos and for a glass of wine. Our favorite is Shiraz Rose. Try a new one white Vasilissa🤍 It’s usually opened all days except Sundays. Check out the working hours. I strongly recommend this place for visit! You will enjoy everything here!
