Antoniades winery — Attraction in Mandria Lemesou

We visited this wondeful winery in June 2021. You can book a tour via form on their web site, which is very convenient, you can be sure to be received exactly at the time you want. It was our first experience of visiting a winery and I must say it was a success (according to my expectations). I wanted to visit a small family run winery, without crouds of tourists, with a guide who would passionately and without hurry tell us about the process of wine making, about the winery itself. So it was exactly what I wanted! The owner himself told us lots of interesting things, patiently answered all our questions, we were the only visitors at that hour! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. It was fantastic! And the most important thing is their wonderful wine. We especially liked their Special Reserve wine matured in oak barrels for 5 years. Marvellous taste, smooth, silky and very rich! We bought 4 bottles, just wanted to share it with our friends, but later decided to open it only on special occasions! We also bought 2 bottles of Kommandoria (Nama), it is also very good. If we happen to go to Cyprus once again, we'll definitely visit this winery! Highly...

Me and my friends visited the winery today and it was the best experience ever!!! I have visited a few wineries in my life but this one is a real gem! The couple who run it are exceptional people—so kind, warm, and genuine, with hearts as big as their passion for winemaking. They welcomed us with smiles and open arms (it was raining heavily when we got there), shared the history of their family’s winemaking tradition and gave us a tour of their property (which is beautiful with stunning views). We tasted a variety of their delicious wines - each with a story of how it is made (we bought a few bottles afterwards!) and later they sat with us, made us coffee, and spent some time chatting, laughing, and exchanging stories. It felt like we were part of their family not complete strangers. I usually don't write long opinions about places but Antoniades Winery is exceptional. It’s not just about the wine - it’s about the incredible people and the unforgettable atmosphere they create. I truly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Cyprus—you won’t regret it! We had an unforgettable experience at Antoniades Winery! The owners, a charming Cypriot couple, were our hosts and shared their passion for winemaking and Cypriot traditions with us. They walked us through the entire winemaking process, from grape to bottle. The wine tasting was a delightful experience, especially considering it only costs 3€ unless you purchase bottles and then you only pay for them (we bought 3!). The wines were exceptional, and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. It felt like visiting family. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's cash only, so be sure to stop by an ATM beforehand (there's one a short drive away).
