A very interesting and delightful experience of Cypriot craft printing described in excellent detail by Mr Hambris. The incredibly skilled work is beautifully presented in several rooms in fascinating village buildings. There are numerous machines and tools on display which were described enthusiastically but unfortunately we were unable to see any of them being used at the time. This would have been very interesting indeed to see how it was produced. As the talk was free we all contributed to the charity box. For those not going to the upper work room, there was a beautiful garden in which to sit. The access was up many steps to each room of display and in some areas there was no handrail to assist those less steady while wheelchair access had some ramps but others would be very difficult. Read morePerfect exhibition! Visited during our tour through nearby villages. This museum is surprisingly interesting, especialy for people interested in arts or design. A women (not sure who is she to Hambis, wife probably) was really hospitable. She guided us for free, because annotations were not ready yet. There are examples of printings of different ages and different producing methods. One room is dedicated to Hambis works. His works shows his hard feelings to that war, where he lost his home and beloved ones. Interesting that Hambis studied in Moscow and speaks russian.
