Chateau park — Attraction in okres Benešov

Stunning views along the river Oche so make sure you take some happy snaps. Truly a beautiful time of the year. Very relaxing stroll through the park. And if your a tree hugger then this is the place for you. Most of the trees have plaques describing what kind of tree they are and so on. Oaks, Elmes , etc. Some of these trees a very old and huge. Zámecký park mi přišel nejen krásně udržovaný, ale i elegantní a nepřeplácaný (ve stylu "podívejte, co všechno tu máme"). Byl založen Michaelem Osvaldem Thunem ve druhé polovině 17. století. Po požáru v roce 1784 byl navíc rozšířen jihozápadním směrem. Po druhé světové válce se park přestal udržovat. S údržbou se tu opět začalo až v 70. letech minulého století. Dnes tu najdete na 150 druhů stromů z celého světa. V severní části parku je dále soubor kaplí Sedm bolestí Panny Marie z devadesátých let 17. století. Zámek i park tvoří hlavní součást klášterecké památkové zóny.
