Leoš Janáček Memorial — Attraction in okres Frýdek-Místek

Very nice museum built in the house where Leoš Janáček lived for a couple of years when he was old. You can visit his study room preserved in the original state, also the kitchen and one room that is filled with information about him and his family containing also some letters and scores. The guide is kind and knowledgeable. Janáček's music is being played as a background during your visit. Price for adults is 50 CZK and the visit takes about 15-20 minutes....

Památník Petra Bezruče na Hukvaldech. Interiér je hlavně zaměřen na historii a život tohoto významného skladatele. Místnosti jsou opatřeny dobovým nábytkem Leoše Janáčka. Tento dům na Hukvaldech zakoupil Leoš Janáček ve svých 65 letech, kde tvořil svoje hudební díla. Expozice Život a dílo Leoše Janáčka je umístěna u někdejší varhanické školy v zahradním domku, kde žil Leoš Janáček v letech 1910 až 1928. Zahrnuje původní Janáčkovu pracovnu s klavírem, v další části domku je moderní expozice, která podává základní textové a obrazové informace o životě skladatele a připomíná jeho nejznámější díla.
