Museum of socialist vehicles — Attraction in okres Jablonec nad Nisou

Then we go to Zelezny Brod (Eisenbrod), about 15km away, where we want to see the Museum of Vehicles of Socialism. It is located in an old, run-down industrial building from the Soviet era, almost a lost place. Inside, the largest collection of Czech Velorex that I have seen in one place awaits us. Muzeum nalezneme v Průmyslové ulici v Železném Brodě. Cesta k němu vede kolem Jizery, což je při pěší procházce velice příjemné. Domy kolem i sama budova muzea nejsou nic moc, staré továrny a oprýskané zdi. Uvnitř je ale hodně krásy a zejména motoristé budou nadšeni. Najdou tu vozy starých generací, různé pionýry, skútry, automobily osobní, požární, autobusy, policejní auta, pokus o elektromobil, malý traktůrek, trenažér, testovací přístroje... Zaujal mě automobil, který dokladuje, co všechno musí udělat karosář, aby opravil poškozenou karoserii. Lze tu vidět i mobilní polní kuchyni, pár opravdu skvostných aut i hodně dlouhou, černou, specielně upravenou limuzínu, kterou jezdil nejvyšší představitel Sovětského svazu...
