Ski resort Šacberk — Attraction in okres Jihlava

What to expect: Ski Rental accepts only cash payments. Restaurant and ski lift does accept debit/credit cards and cash. Ski lift will charge an extra 100 CZK deposit for plastic card used for ski lift. This of course is fully refundable upon return of card. When you pay with card, they will refund you the 100CZK in cash, it will not be returned to your debit/credit card.

Positive Experience: Rental staff is very helpful, they take your weight, measurements and accommodate you with fitted skis. They can accommodate you with an English speaking ski instructor in case you need one for your children or for yourself to brush off on your skills. Based on my experience, great staff throughout the ski resort.

The ski slope is fine but the pub at the bottom of the slope is run by a bunch of miserable gits who learned their customer service skills from British Rail. Basically about as helpful as a snake in a lucky dip. The place is empty and you sit at the bar and order and then they won't accept you order because you didn't order at the till! Ski areal Sacberk se nachazi na severnim svahu kopce nedaleko Jihlavy. V jeho zazemi se nachazi vlek typu kotva, který vede az nahoru na kopec. Je zde tez maly vlek typu lano pro zacatecniky s vyhrazenou casti sjezdovky. Male deti vlek vyuzivaji zdarma a mohou se zde ucit sami nebo za pomoci instruktorů. Insteuktori uci take jizde na snowbordu. V arealu je i pujcovna a servis lyzi, bot, prileb a hulek pro deti i dospele. Kdyz si lyzari chteji odpocinout, mohou navstivit mistni restauraci, ze ktere je vyhled na areal. Jidlo je zde velmi chutne, i kdyz s omezenym vyberem. Vzdy je na vyber ze dvou polevek, dale se nabizi hranolky, rizek, palacinky s nutelou a dalsi. Areal je vhodnejsi spise pro mene zdatne lyzare a to vzhledem k delce sjezdovky.
