Ideally you'll need a 4x4 to get up the steep road leading to this place but any car will do with careful driving. In winter you will need snow chains (a warning sign at the bottom of the road indicates this). ||We visited this place to see what it was like and stayed for a drink. The food and drink menu was extensive with traditional Czech dishes being offered along side mainstream European food. The owners have opted for a non smoking policy which makes for a very pleasent change. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio.||At present, the Czech government hasn't implementated a smoking ban. However, there is an opt in voluntary scheme where venues can ban smoking on their premises.||The views from this place are utterly amazing and overlooks the major town of Liberec and the smaller town of Jablonec nad Nisou. ||There is a chair lift which can bring you to the top when in operation and a bob bahn.||I would recommend that anyone travelling (especially if flying and hiring a car) to travel to this place. Approximately 90 mins north of Prague on the E442/motorway 35, junction 31, northbound. ||It is unique, friendly staff (some of whom speak English and most of whom can German).||From what I have seen from the hotel brochure I would...
