حديقة جميلة بما تعنيه الكلمة تستحق الزيارة

Pruhonice Park and Castle, classified as part of the Historic Centre of Prague - UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992, is one of the crown jewels of the Czech Republic's national historical parks and an exceptional example of a European landscape park of this style. Covering an area of approximately 250 hectares, the park has a privileged location just 15 kilometres southeast of Prague, making it easily accessible and a perfect destination for either a sunny afternoon or a long weekend. Pruhonice Park is home to 1,600 different kinds of plants, including 8,000 rhododendrons (one of the largest collection in the world) and a unique 3-hectar Alpinum, as well as ponds and streams, 25 kilometers of pathways and a beautiful castle complex with its old church dating from 12th century. This rich combination of natural, cultural, and scenic values, together with a host of exceptional scientific and recreational opportunities, makes Pruhonice Park and Castle an inspiring example of Earth's most important heritage and perhaps Prague best getaway.Nowadays, Pruhonice Park is part of the Institute of Botany of the ASCR, one of the research institutes of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic, that besides to conduct fundamental research on species, populations and communities of plants, is the organization responsible for its management and...

This is one of the best parks around Prague for a day visit with family or on your own. It was found in 1885, and now owned by the Botanical institute of Czech Republic. The area of the park is big, you can get a map when buying the entrance ticket and follow the tracks shown on the map - there are for example routes for 2.5, 5 and 10 km, but you can also walk less just following the paths. The park is really very well taken care of, and all paths are marked by signs, so it’s very difficult to get lost. It has a huge collection of plants (including exotic ones) and it is also a World Heritage Site. During spring-summer time which is more popular for walks in nature, one entry to the park for a day costs 80 Kc, in winter, price is less. They accept payments by card. There is paid parking available near the park - but payments by cash only. When the weather is good, the park is full of visitors. It’s very popular for family and tourists visits. There are several cafes and restaurants in Pruhonice, and a small cafe inside the park in case you want to grab some food or drink. I would definitely recommend to see it at least once, the area is really beautiful and walks there are very nice...

We had terrible experience today 9.11.2024 at 17:20 at Pruhonice park. We lost at the park and came to the exit at 5:20 after closing the park. And the door before the main entrance was locked. On the page of the park we found the number of administrator. We called there and one women who had a shift this night answer the call. We asked her to open the door because we can't go out and it's very cold. She said that we have to come the main entrance. But how can we come to the main entrance when the door before is locked?! She said it's not her problem and she has a lot of job tonight and we can do whatever we want to do!!! Afterwards we called to police and they said the same, that we have to go to the main entrance which was not possible at all!! At the end we saw the light in one old apartment at the first floor. We knocked the windows and asked one old kind men to open the windows and let us go. Through his apartment we could go out. Thanks to him a lot. And the administration of the park has to take administrative action against this employee, as there was a threat...

So far, it is the best park I have seen beyond Prague. The park is huge and spacious. It takes 3-4 hours to walk around the whole area. There is a cafe at the entrance. Not much option, mainly cakes,a couple of sandwiches and drinks. There are many benches and some tables along the way.But the best is you can sit on the grass and just have a picnic. The paths are mostly flat and well paved. There is an entrance fee, and you are allowed to bring your dog inside.Just get your pet a ticket. The dogs should be on a leash, but no muzzle is required. It is very calm, and you can totally disconnect in nature.Personally, I prefer this much more than the botanical garden in the city centre.

It is one of the best park I have seen. It is fantastic, it seems to be in a magic place. There is a botanic garden with a wide variety of plants, lakes with big fishes and ducks. If you are lucky, as my wife, you can see also deers and fawns. For sure we will came back there. I recommend you to came with some food, because inside the parck there isn't a place in where to eat something, otherwise near the congress court there is a little bar near the entrance and with your ticket you can go out and come back inside.
