Zámek Středočeského muzea v Roztokách u Prahy — Attraction in okres Praha-západ

Very nice place, if you are in old castles and exhibitions that's the thing. Only 20 min by train from Prague city center. The site has three points, the castle and two buildings for exhibitions. The Archevita exposition is very well designed and presented. The combination of classic museum exhibit and multimedia addition is very good. Maybe alert for visitors with small children, on the second floor are real skeletons. The second building is for temporary exhibitions, we where lucky to enjoy the Vltava river - historic changes related to wood gathering. Very interesting. Also there was a exhibition for kids related to some new movie. I general the gardens of the place are very nice for walk and there is a a nice small caffe with incredible deserts. Smaller castle, but guide lady was able to give us castle tour in English. I was nicely surprised, that at such small and far from center place they can offer different language than Czech. She was attentive and waited for us to see everything after her speech. After that we have visited Archevita exposition which is was also nice and you can walk around for yourself. Tak tady nevím jak mám hodnotit. Byli jsme o adventu, byly tam trhy, což mě pocitem štěstí moc nenaplňuje, ale díky tomu tam bylo více lidí, a to má ráda má manželka. Začnu tedy prohlídkou zámku. Tady bych dal max 2-3 hvězdy. Trvala všehovšudy 30min, a prošli jsme asi 2 místnosti. Jak říkám, nic moc. Ale zase vstup pro celou rodinu stál jen asi 130Kč což je sranda a teď přijde to, proč jsem dal celkem hvězdy 4. Na závěr prohlídky přišla zastávka a ochutnávka v kuchyni. Byly tam 3 velmi milé a ochotné dámy (ze kterých bylo cítit nadšení a obrovská srdečnost), které nabízely k ochutnání česnečku (dobrá) a jáhlovou kaši s povidlovou omáčkou (jáhly jsme nikdy nejedl a nejsou nic moc, ale s tou povidlovou omáčkou mi to chutnalo)) a nesmím zapomenout na moc dobrou domácí vánočku. Všeho jsme dostali sice trochu, ale jelikož za to nikdo nic nechtěl a měli jsme to v ceně vstupu, byla to věc, která mě velmi mile potěšila. A v dnešní s prominutím vyčůrané době, kdy cítím to, že by ze mě každý chtěl v době adventu sedřít kůži, ať už formou nějakých příspěvků na hladovějící, nebo nemocné děti, to bylo fakt ojedinělé a moc hezké.
