JK CLASSICS Museum of American vintage cars Lužná — Attraction in okres Rakovník

We came here for the summer meet from germany. The place is well worth a visit even without an event. Its one of the the best car museums in czechia and really has some Atmosphere of the big US of A. The visitor car park is already full at 9:00 a.m., because the annual summer meeting is taking place today.

We dress ourselves up for rockabilly and off we go. There are food and drink stands, a band, memorabilia, a diner and of course the museum's 4 vehicle halls.

In addition, the meadow is now intended as a presentation area for the US cars and oldies that have arrived.

The meetup is very small and familiar compared to Swedish meetups, but we're kind of famished and it's fun to roam between the cars and admire.

In between we eat and drink here and there. There is also a caricaturist who we let immortalize us. What do you say to that?

This is a worthwhile visit for car enthusiasts and just car lovers alike ! Predominantly cars and trucks from the good ol USA, ranging in years from an original model T Henry Ford to 1970 s chevy K5 blazer. Some truly rare and restored vehicles that are true American icons and that most of us are familiar with from classic American movies. There is also a very rare Czech Tatra with 3 headlights and a tail fin that covers a rear mounted V8 ! Their are 3 large buildings which are finely displayed with mannequins of the era and old posters, Bill boards and information on each of the cars. And if you're feeling hungry theirs a 1950s style restaurant that's serves awesome ribs, coffee, beers etc etc. Entrance fee was around 180 kc with senior citizens discounts as well.
