Skryje ponds — Attraction in okres Rokycany

I found the trail to be quite disappointing for a few reasons:

The trail signs are not located in the right spots, and there are no smaller versions of them in English. Additionally, there is no English legend for the map. They call it an "important European location" yet they make it accessible only to Czechs. I can imagine foreign tourists being confused by this. Either they shouldn't market it as an important location for all Europeans or they should provide at least a shorter version of the text in English. The cliffs are being damaged by visitors as there is no designated path, such as wooden planks, to prevent erosion and ensure safety. The absence of such paths makes the cliffs quite slippery. Although there are bridges, it's unclear why a path along the river has not been constructed using the same wooden planks. Many parts of the trail are confusing, making it difficult to know which way to go. I recommend downloading a trail map in advance since there is no signal in the area.

Despite these issues, the views are nice, and it can be an interesting spot to visit if you live in Prague and want to see something different. However, the waterfall is not very impressive due to its small height.

One unpleasant experience was witnessing a man bathing naked in the river, despite children being in the vicinity of the trail. It was quite inappropriate, and I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my kids there if this is a regular occurrence.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it a 6/10, so it's 3...

As I later find out the access road to this place is usually easier then when I was here... usually there is supposed to be less water. But at least it was a bigger challenge - it's was still possible to get there with dry feet - don't worry. And it made the final rewards of kinda little waterfall...

Really nice trip accesible by car. There is a parking about a kilometr to the waterfall. We went there wtoh a dog and then there are few road block that you need to climb or use stones in the water to pass. Really nice walk about 5km round back...
