Autocamp Sedmihorky — Attraction in okres Semily

The best camp to stay with kids in the summer. Cleverly divided into separate sections of chalets, caravans, campers with tents and cars (which is unfortunately always crowded and also sloped) and our beloved meadow Romantika which is not accessible with cars but is separated from the rest of the crowded camp by a small forest. It is quiet and truly romantic but just a stone's throw from the restaurants and other camp facilities. The camp has its own reasonably clean pond for swimming and a nice sandy beach. It offers several programs for kids and adults everyday. There are three different kiosks where you can buy meals as well as basic food for daily snacks and there is also a restaurant which presents live concerts once or twice a week. There is a kitchen where you can cook, enough clean showers and lavatories. You can store your food in a fridge or use a washing machine. There is also a play hall where kids can spend time in case of bad weather for a fee. The camp is easily accessible by train or bus from the town of Turnov in case you come without your own means of transport. In the vicinity there are endless opportunities for trips to the rocks, forests full of blueberries, castles and more - indeed a holiday paradise. We've been here twice and always had lots of fun. Location is great. Surrounded by forests.

The cottage is old and coming to the end of its life but it is still comfortable. The location is perfect if you have kids. You can watch them on the beach from the cottage. It is for 7 people but this would be very tight. 3 adults 3 kids is cappacity.

The negatives are that it is crazy busy on very hot days as anyone from the outside can come in for the day. Plus there are a lot of campers. Secondly are the prices for everything, the shops are double charging in most cases. We bought supplies but everyday essentials are costly.

This place is always full in the holidays and you have to book almost a year in advance.

They now have new cottages that are situated opposite the caravan area away from the beach. It is quieter but not good for kids. They are situated on a busier. But they are certainly more comfortable...

Dit was onze eerste ervaring met Tsjechische campings, en wat voor een…. Qua sanitair ga je 30 jaar terug in de tijd in vergelijking met West-Europese campings. De vier sterren reviews begrijpen wij totaal niet. Kwantitatief is er veel, kwalitatief is er niks.... Denk aan vieze douchegordijntjes, plastieken wandjes, gore en erg kleine wasmachines (dan wel maar 2,5 euro per wasje). Geen warm water bij kranen, alles super dicht bij elkaar (geen privacy) en oude wc’s die heel klein zijn. Na het poetsen ligt het gras en de haren nog gewoon op de grond. Schoon oogt het misschien, maar is het zeker niet voor onze maatstaven.

Daarbij een onhandig douche systeem: buiten de douche-hokjes betalen en het apparaat bepaalt waar je moet douchen (kan zomaar ook het vieste hokje zijn). Omdat er vieze gordijntjes hangen, amper plek om hygiënisch met je kind te douchen. Als je met je kinderen wilt douchen en meer dan 6 min nodig hebt, verplicht het systeem je om van hokje te veranderen na 6min.

Andere nadelen Alleen waterpunten bij het sanitair gebouw is, geen andere water tappunten. Dus daar moet je elke keer heen lopen. 3.Kennis over de omgeving bij een van de dames van. de receptie is nihil. Als je vraagt naar tips voor restaurants of wandelingen, krijg je alleen tips van de dingen op de camping. Van buiten de camping hebben ze niks om te delen. Erg jammer. 4.Plekken zijn behoorlijk scheef, neem voldoende wigjes en houten blokken mee. 5.Ze hebben een binnenspeeltuin, maar deze is 7 euro per kind, daar ga je dus niet zomaar even spelen. 6.Weinig schaduw/beschutting. In voorseizoen voor ons erg fijn. In zomer lijkt me dit niet te harden. 7.Alles is gewoon te gedateerd. We hebben geen ervaring met andere Tsjechische campings, misschien is dit heel normaal. Maar voor ons was het echt te oud en vies. 8.'s avonds gaan de Tjsechen vuurtjes stoken, dus moet je je caravan/camper potdicht houden tegen de stank. 9.Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is niet goed. Voordelen 1.Locatie. Goed bereikbaar met caravan/campers. In de omgeving is voldoende te doen (Praag 1uur rijden, Prachov rotsen 20min rijden, supermarkt 8min). Je zit niet in de bergen en niet op een stadscamping. Qua temperatuur en uitvalsbasis in voorseizoen voor ons de motivatie om hier te blijven. 2.Meertje met speeltuin
